The Charles County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the community’s help in identifying two men who stole money from a church. Detectives have released surveillance camera photographs of the two men and their car, and Charles County Crime Solvers is offering a reward for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
Sometime in the early morning hours of Oct. 13, the men broke into Potomac Heights Baptist Church located at 37 Glymont Road in Indian Head and stole money from the church’s offering. One of the men was wearing a shirt with a white emblem on the front and which had a stain on the bottom of the left sleeve. The second man was wearing dark pants with vertical gray stripes on the outside of the pant legs.
