Middle School Student in Possession of Prescription Medication: On May 17 at approximately 12:30 p.m., a student at Piccowaxen Middle School notified an administrator that another student brought a bottle of prescription medication to school. The administrator recovered the prescription medication, which belonged to the student’s parent, and notified the School Resource Officer. The student faces disciplinary consequences from the Charles County Public Schools. Parents are urged to talk to their children about the dangers of bringing items to school that may contain dangerous substances.
